Our Little Bubble Blower!

2 Big 1sts!!

Taylor has decided that crawling isn't enough for her!! We've been prodding her, with no success, to take those first steps. Well, the other night we were sitting in the basement with some friends and here comes Taylor walking out from behind the pool table, and she hasn't stopped since. She's all about walking except when she takes a spill! :) This picture has nothing to do with walking but it is cute. Her next big 1st is...

her first time going to the bathroom on a toilet!! I know that she's still a little young, but I thought why not get her used to the seat. We got the seat and she was enthrawled by it. Well, the very first time we put her on the seat, she totally let loose and went #1!! She was all smiles as Dad and I cheered her on. Probably a freak coincidence, but we're still proud of her! We've only had one other success since that first time...but it's only been two days!!

Cathedral Valley

Rob has had spring fever VERY bad lately, and finally I told him that we had to get away for the weekend. So...we dropped Tay off at Grandpa and Grandma's and headed south. We wanted some rustic camping...but got this...
It actually ended up better because this campground was much lower in elevation, which translates into a warmer night for me. Saturday morning we headed out from Fruita for Cathedral Valley. Here are some fun pics from our day.

Happy Birthday Taylor!

We decided to celebrate Tay's 1st birthday on Easter Sunday. Her birthday was actually the following Tuesday. All of Rob's family was able to come over for dinner, and my Mom and Dad were staying with us for the weekend...so we were all together! I'll mostly let the pictures do the talking...all I have to say is that we love this little girl and can't believe that a year has already flown by!!

Rob was at Priesthood meeting and I was at home alone with Taylor. I heard her head for my bedroom and thought that I would go and grab her when I was done with the dishes...well...I'll let the pictures do the talking.





Needless to say...I was a few moments late! Oh and yes, it is lotion!!

Mobile Baby

We bought Taylor this little walker on our trip to Wyoming in January. I made the mistake of introducing it to her on the tile....it flew away from her fairly quickly...and as a result, she's been scared of it until today!! She hits a lot of walls, but I think she'll get better!

Mom, Rob, and I headed for the hills on Saturday. Rob didn't have snowshoes, but said that he would be fine. He ended up watching the dog sleds while Mom and I did some snowshoeing.
